This program runs as a service under Windows NT4, 2000 and XP and only works with version 4.61 software. It periodically checks for the status of the SLPMONX service and restarts it under special conditions.
 
Users will experience a situation were they are unable to print after a period of time. They either receive no error, but printing does not occur, or they receive a communication error on the client. Once the host is rebooted, clients are able to print until the SLPMONX service shuts down again. Looking into Services on the host will show that the SLPMONX service is not running.
