What are the major differences between InkNote Manager 3.0 and 3.1?
  • InkNote Manager version 3.1 provides multi-language support, including:
    • English
    • French
    • German
    • Spanish
    • Italian
  • For Palm OS handheld users, InkNote Manager 3.1 eliminates an occasional HotSync error where your Palm OS handheld may not properly synchronize ink notes to your desktop PC.
  • For users that use InkNote Manager on both Palm OS and Pocket PC OS devices, devices of both OS are now visible in the "Select Partner" menu.
What are the major differences between InkNote Manager 3.1 and 3.2?
  • InkNote Manager 3.2 includes all the fixes from 3.1 and an additional fix for a compatibility issue with Compaq iPAQ 3900 series Pocket PCs, allowing them to work with SmartPads.
     
    Note: Compaq 3900 series Pocket PCs must install IR Port driver fix available from Compaq in order to work with SmartPad and InkNote Manager version 3.2.
     
  • The Pocket PC German, French, Italian and Spanish versions of InkNote Manager have the following fixes/updates from InkNote Manager 3.1:
    • Improved access from InkNote Manager to tasks in Outlook.
    • Correctly translated error messages.
    • Corrected installer to use translated messages.

  • Changed installer to properly record where InkNote Manager is installed.
  • For Pocket PC operating system, fixed a cut and paste issue with other applications.

  • InkNote Manager 3.0 users who need a version other than English.
  • First time InkNote Manager software users
  • Seiko Instruments USA Inc. SmartPad owners who use Compaq iPAQ 3900 series Pocket PCs.
