Labels, complete with pictures, barcodes and text can be laid out and printed with just a few lines of code.   The SDK can be used from Visual Basic or any language including C, C++, C#, or Pascal. The SDK kit contains of the following: SlpApi62.dll (and SlpApi62.lib for C programs) A ReadMe document. Samples projects for Visual Basic 2005 and C Please note that the sample projects are intended for use with Visual Studio available with .Net 2005 and Visual Basic.Net Samples include over 20 different label layouts including usage of image manipulations, bar-coding, graphics and fonts. All samples are available in C and Visual Basic. A sample project for embedded systems programmers who need to command Smart Label Printers through a serial port from within their programs. Users that are currently using version 6.X drivers Users using version 6.0.X software that need 2D bar-coding capability (Our SLP 440 or 450 are recommended for 2D barcoding.) What is New? SDK now prints through our 6.x System Printer Driver Images can now be imported directly from files. Images can be automatically scaled in either direction. Support for MaxiCode, PDF417 and DataMatrix 2D barcodes. The SDK now support WIndows 2000 and Windows XP A silent install for cirtical components so you can bundle our installer with yours. Added function SplGetTextHeight to get the text height of a font. Added function SlpCopyLabelToClipboard. This is a handy way to test the look of labels without having to actually print. SplDebugMode enables debug logging features. Added a switch to flag VisualBasic 6 or VisualBasic.Net so the calls can be forced to use 32-bit integers. Added SlpGetVersion to retrieve the specific version number of the DLL. Installation Notes: All printing from the SDK now prints through the 6.2 driver (available separately.)
