How To Use the Toolkit

Each of the elements you see in this Toolkit can be downloaded by clicking on the <download> link below the item name. The files are in zip compression format.

Email Blasts
Once you "unzip" the file you will find the html templates for creating your email message. The graphic files are included and already linked to the file. Should you wish to customize the header, master artwork is provided. It is the file ending in ".psd" and is an Adobe Photoshop file with live text using Avant Garde Gothic fonts.

NOTE: For brand consistency we ask that you use the Avant Garde Gothic font family in the header graphic. If you do not have this font it is available online at www.fonts.com, www.itcfonts.com, www.linotype.com, www.myfonts.com, or www.philsfonts.com.

Banner Ads and Action Buttons
Once you "unzip" the files you will find ready-made banners and buttons that can be used as is. These are the files ending in ".gif".

Should you wish to customize the banners or buttons to create your own message or alter the content, master templates are included. The master templates are the files ending in ".psd". All the banner and button masters use Avant Garde Gothic fonts.

If you have Photoshop CS:
The .psd files can be edited in Adobe ImageReady, a Web-graphics tool that is included with Photoshop to help create animated web graphics. This will allow you access to the full animation sequencing as well as live text. If you are not familiar with ImageReady more information can be found at www.adobe.com.

If you have Photoshop CS2:
The .psd files can be edited with Photoshop CS2 by using the Animations palette and layer palette animation options. If you are not familiar with this feature of Photoshop CS2, information can be found at www.adobe.com.

Product Images
The product image files are not compressed. The SLP 420 Animated photo is an animated .gif file ready to use and is provided in two sizes. The SLP 420 in the hand, SLP 450, and SLP 440 photos as well as the SLP line art are in RGB jpeg format, ready to use for online purposes. Should you require high resolution, 4 color versions for print purposes please contact Carrie Allen at carrie.allen@siu-la.com.
